KidsROCK is all about reaching the children throughout the Countryside community! Children eat a snack and play outside, followed by a short Bible lesson, a small group or one-on-one tutoring from adults and high school students, and then wrap up the day with an enrichment class to learn a variety of skills.
You don’t have to go to another country to be a missionary – you can do it right here at Heritage by crossing the parking lot!
We also need volunteers that would like to tutor and/or teach the enrichment classes – no experience necessary. Must be able to read or do elementary math. We also need volunteers who are willing to share a skill like crocheting, gardening, yoga, making crafts, puppetry, putting on plays – just about anything that can be shared in 45 minutes for a few weeks. We also need volunteers to help serve a light dinner to the children and their families. (Tutors are expected to arrive between 3 – 3:30 PM.)
